STATUS for Apache 1.2.3
=======================

Release Status:

    o IMPORTANT!
      We now really need to push the baby out. 
      Here is the timeline:

      Mon Aug 18 12:00 PDT: 
           - Switching version from 1.2.3-dev to 1.2.3
           - Tagging of repository to APACHE_1_2_3
           - Rolling of the final tarball
           - Switching version from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4-dev
           - Moving the distribution file into 
             ftp://dev.apache.org/httpd/dist/apache_1.2.3.tar.{gz,Z}
          => NOW 24h TIME FOR FINAL TESTING
             (plus rolling of the binary tarballs)
          Status: DONE!

      Tue Aug 19 12:00 PDT: 
           - Moving the distribution files into 
             ftp://ftp.apache.org/apache/dist/apache_1.2.3.tar.gz
             along with PGP .asc, CHANGES and KEYS files
           - Updating apache-site/index.html for 1.2.3
          => NOW 24h TIME FOR MIRROS TO SYNC
             (plus rolling of the binary tarballs)
          Status: -

      Wed Aug 20 12:00 PDT: 
           - Sending the ANNOUNCE message to apache-announce@apache.org
             (Brian: When I should do this you have to add me as
             an accepted posted to Majordomo for this list)
             and comp.infosystems.www.servers.unix 
          => FINISHED: NOW "THE NUMBER OF THE (CURRENT) BEAST IS 1.2.3" ;_)
