IIRC, Apache internally collapses multiple slashes before doing anything
that might touch the filesystem (i.e. comparing to <Directory> entires,
sending a r->filename to a handler, etc...), so it does nothing unsafe. I
believe we've beaten this topic to the ground several times before,
anyway.
