To maintain the list of mirrors you edit a file called mirrors.list, which looks sorta like: http us http://www.apache.org/ apache@apache.org http ar http://www.infoap.com/ar/apache/ gabriel.infoap.com.ar http at http://uiinfo.tuwien.ac.at/apache/ sprinzl@edvz.tuwien.ac.at http au http://Bond.edu.au/External/Misc/apache/ q@bond.edu.au http au http://www.syd.dit.csiro.au/tools/apache/ ken@syd.dit.csiro.au [. . .] ftp ar ftp://ftp.infoap.com.ar/pub/apache/dist/ ftp at ftp://gd.tuwien.ac.at/pub/infosys/servers/http/apache/dist/ ftp au ftp://Bond.edu.au/pub/apache/dist/ ftp br ftp://ftp.gns.com.br/pub/unix/apache/dist/ ftp ch ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror/apache/dist/ After I finished this I realized that this will break when it goes to a mirror site. I suppose 'download.cgi' can be 'index.cgi', and mirror sites can symlink the 'mirrors' directory to 'dist' rather than mirroring the 'mirrors' directory. that would probably work. Let me know if I should commit this, or something. -- Sameer Parekh Voice: 510-986-8770 President FAX: 510-986-8777 C2Net http://www.c2.net/ sameer@c2.net
