I definitely agree. 

On a related topic, someone I was talking with who was providing commercial
modules for Apache noted that it was somewhat difficult to explain to folks
how to integrate it into the Configuration and Makefile setup, and that he
wasn't even sure he was doing it right.  Some documentation or a specified
rule or process for doing just that would help motivate companies to
provide binary-only modules.
