I think this gets fixed with the patch above. I use CGIs a lot in my net.sw
and after the above patch I never discovered any hanging CGI processes. And
net.sw actually uses non-trivial "just put data out and exit" CGI scripts. It
has very complicated ones, even MIME multipart ones, etc. Currently no more
CGIs in state "pipewr" under FreeBSD 2.2.1-RELEASE. I'm happy now.
