1.2(b) is a much better beast than 1.1.3 IMO. It's more stable,
faster and easier to build. It's got a few more bells and whistles,
but I think all of them have a valid reason behind them.

I think the main reason why it may _appear_ that Apache is less
stable is that we are comparing 1.1.3 with _betas_ of 1.2. Hell,
betas are meant to shake out the bugs. 1.2b8 is much better than
earlier versions.
