+1, because seems to work fine, my Apache here on en1 works still ok.  But ok,
I have not tested it in depth, just applied the patch and worked on yesterday.
Would be good if some others say something about this.

+1 for Kens "UserDir disabled user" syntax. While I don't really like the
syntax, it is straight foreward because "UserDir disabled" already exists and
such a feature is very useful (even I personally would use a simple
"RewriteRule ^~user - [F]" which does the same and needs no more hacking to
the sources ;-).
