Subject: [BUG]: "solaris panic on init 6" on Solaris 2.x

Submitter: bpm@techapp.com
Operating system: Solaris 2.x, version: 2.4
Version of Apache Used: 1.2b7
Extra Modules used: mod_fastcgi
URL exhibiting problem:

Symptoms:
--
I had to reboot my system. I have in /etc/rc3.d
a S99apache_daemon script which has a 'stop' clause.
But when ever I do an 'init 6', I get a panic (see
the messages file below). When I add a K99apache_daemon,
then the apache httpd stops correctly, and I get
no panic.

Rather strange I'd say
