Subject: FEATURE REQUEST

Anybody proposed adding a mod_icp to permit an apache httpd instance
to be direct ICP queried by squid?

1)	IMS would be possible with NO connection setup overhead because
	its UDP

2) 304 responses would still count to stats since the IMS could
	be taken as another "hit"

3)	code is there: squid has a embeddable program which was designed
to add IMS to CERN and other cache servers

4)	traffic efficiency is very good: cutting down on spurious
fetches is good. cutting down on tcp overhead is good.

etc etc etc.
