I can't duplicate it here, and it appears like it may be some information
that your CGI script is depending on is missing, which is causing your CGI
script to crash.
I asked if you could provide a minimal sample script that exhibits the
problem but didn't get any response, unless I lost it in my inbox which is
possible...
It really is difficult to debug without futher information. Access to a
server that runs the script doesn't really help much.

I built this under QNX and am still seeing the failure of commands such
as:

this request works under 1.2b2 but fails under 1.2b6/7 this is logged as
#168 in the bug-base.
