Subject: Server Parsed HTML Bug

When handling server parsed html files, I used to use code as
shown in "OLD", below. But, it no longer works. Now it seems to
require that I escape the '{'. This is odd.

The syntax below means (to the shell) use the value of the
HTTP_REFERER environment vairable if it is set, otherwise use the
string http://www.web-depot.com/.

${HTTP_REFERER:=http://www.web-depot.com/}

OLD

<A HREF="<!--#exec cmd='echo ${HTTP_REFERER:=http://www.web-depot.com/}'-->"
TARGET="_parent"><IMG SRC="/graphics/mallexit.gif" BORDER=0
ALT="Mall Exit"></A>

NEW

<A HREF="<!--#exec cmd='echo $\{HTTP_REFERER:=http://www.web-depot.com/\}'-->"
TARGET="_parent"><IMG SRC="/graphics/mallexit.gif" BORDER=0
ALT="Mall Exit"></A>
