> > Lou, can you get in touch with these guys? Interoperability and
> > high performance with the latest version of apache is obviously a very
> > import issue. Thanks.
> >
> I have the fix in my tree. I'll check it into the b2 branch
> and the trunk ASAP.

the workaround described below continue to work
with the fixed versions of Navigator?

> > Jeff,
> >
In the Apache Group we're trying to figure out byteranges, as
> > it appears to us that Navigator's byterange support is at odds with
> > HTTP/1.1-compliant byteranges. As Apache is supposedly an HTTP/1.1
> > compliant server, we have a problem being compatible with Navigator
> > and with the standard. Our guy Alexei may have found a solution
> > though. Do you think you could forward this along to the rights folks
> > in charge of byteranges on Navigator and get them in touch with the
> > apache group (subscribe new-httpd to so that
> > we can discuss with them the solution to this? Thanks.

> > Okay... I think I've got it now. Note that this is a long email that
> > is basically a lot of explanatory drivel and then a solution and patch
> > at the end. If you don't want to read it all, skip to the last three
> > paragraphs and the patch, please.
