Today some MOO people (who're refitting that sw for bigger things)
needed some mmap code that would run xplatform.  So I pointed them
at Apache's treatment of mmap (or treatment of anything, since most
of Apache has had the rough edges polished from it).  Does the
action of eyeballing someone else's code and saying "wow, yes, it's
so obvious" warrant the attention of the copyright police?
