Subject: [BUG]: "proxy not handling some headers correctly" on AIX

Submitter: sharpc@hursley.ibm.com
Operating system: AIX, version:
Version of Apache Used: 1.2b4
Extra Modules used: mod_proxy
URL exhibiting problem: http://www1.teletext.co.uk/cgi-bin/nph-showpage.exe?HTML=/offe/skiing.htm&TAG=skiing&HEIGHT=50&WIDTH=2&ORIG_START=0&START=0
HTTP/1.0

Symptoms:
--
Using Apache as proxy, it seems to put it's own
headers, then a blank line, then the responding
servers headers out to client on some nph scripts.

Consequently, the responding servers headers come
out in the document body (because of the preceeding
blank line).

E.g. response to URL given via proxy is this:-
HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Date: Tue, 14 Jan 1997 11:04:38 GMT
Content-Length: 4446

Content-Type: text/html
