More info: GCC gets all the way through the compile, but barfs on the linking:

  ld: FATAL 2: Internal: at ../../commonlib/ld3264/relocate.c merge_ext returns nil during
relocation
  collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
  *** Error code 1 (bu21)

Also, "-n32" isn't an argument to gcc, so that should be conditionalized in
Configure.

Anyone get this to compile successfully on 6.2?
