Maybe  the right thing to do is to invert the option, like
-DNO_USE_SIGACTION and make it a default? -DNO_NEED_LINGER...

Actually, that might be best. Comments? It doesn't *seem* like it could
break anything.

Also, Cliff had received another bit of signal patch for Solaris 2.5.
Has anyone besides me tried this out?
