Subject: RefererIgnore doesn't behave how I think it ought
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

OS: Solaris 2.5
Modules:  mod_log_referer

In my httpd.conf I have

RefererLog /disk3/livewww/livelog/referer_log
RefererIgnore BioMedNet.com:8008
RefererIgnore BioMedNet.com
RefererIgnore biomednet.com:8008
RefererIgnore biomednet.com

but my referer_log is full of lines like

http://BioMedNet.com/BioMedNet/biomed31.htm -> /gifs/entrance.gif
http://BioMedNet.com/BioMedNet/biomed31.htm -> /gifs/join.gif
http://BioMedNet.com/BioMedNet/biomed31.htm -> /gifs/b-join.gif
http://BioMedNet.com/BioMedNet/biomed31.htm -> /gifs/feedback.gif
http://BioMedNet.com/BioMedNet/biomed31.htm -> /gifs/joinnow.gif

Shouldn't my RefererIgnore commands prevent this?

Cheers
