Oooops... Alexi is correct.  Perhaps the best thing to do about this,
if we're going to change the API to deal with it, is simply to not run
fixups in sub_request_lookup (and to add the call to run 'em to
run_sub_request, so that CGI-included SSI still works properly).

Sigh... you'd think I'd remember this stuff.  Grump.
