Subject: WWW Form Bug Report: "docs omit crucial details on imap in Apache-1.0.0" on Solaris

Operating system: Solaris 2.x, version:
Extra Modules used: imap
URL exhibiting problem:

[also: your main `Server Project' page, on the Austrian mirror,
points to the bug-report page expecting to get this negotiated to
the .html file, which fails: I got here by guessing nd
adding that by hand.]

The module mod_imap documentation gives me examples
of the use of each valid directive in a .map file:
so I know the syntax is, for each directive,
	directive url int,int int,int
however, I don't know the semantics. I guessed that
for the rectangle, no problem. However, all the
others require, semantically, different data. I tried
giving circle point and radius and my server failed
to answer the request. I gave the circle two points
and it worked fine, but I have no idea what circle
has been matched by my data. Likewise, what is the
significance of the second data point for a point ?
How is a polygon other than a rectangle described ?

In short, this is a documentation bug (the semantics
are not given) which looks an awful lot like there
is a bug in .map file handling.

The documentation of `mime types apache treats
specially' doesn't mention the imap mime type.
This is also a documentation bug.

I do not guarantee to leave the following URL in place

Happy hacking, Merry Christmas and
may the new year smile on you,
