It seems like they should be preserved, though - if I have 

  Redirect /foo/ http://host2/bar/

And a request for

  http://host1/foo/script.cgi?2

I should get redirected to

  http://host2/bar/script.cgi?2

But you seem to suggest the ?2 gets dropped.  Why?
