Subject Re: Imagemaps break in 0.8.8
Date Fri, 11 Aug 1995 21:40:32 GMT

Jeff - are you using your old imagemap program, or the one distributed
with 0.8.8? Try using the old one in the old cgi-bin, but with the new
0.8.8, rather than using the new one. That new imagemap is one
configured to run without needing an imagemap.conf file; instead, you
create a link like http://host/cgi-bin/imagemap/path/to/,
so in your example you might want to try
/cgi-bin/imagemap/maps/ Finally, note that there is a new
module to Apache which does the imagemap functionality internally; so if
you compile with the imagemap module installed, you might be able to just
link to /maps/

Summary: I don't *think* this is a bug in 0.8.8 (all my imagemaps still
work) but instead a misconfiguration.
