We've heard about the people and one of us has made contact with them.

This mail will be read by the Apache project members so I think you
should first wait to see if any of them can tell you more or you
should contact the SSL people to see what their plans are.

If we can get something compatible with Apache, I'm sure we'd be
keen to have a pointer to the source from our pages. Having the
source might not be an option (dumb US laws etc).
