Subject [Bug 53705] New: Align server-status balancer display to balancer-manager format
Date Mon, 13 Aug 2012 04:41:47 GMT
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53705

          Priority: P2
            Bug ID: 53705
          Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
Summary: Align server-status balancer display to
                    balancer-manager format
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
          Reporter: esmond.pitt@bigpond.com
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
           Version: 2.5-HEAD
         Component: mod_proxy_balancer
           Product: Apache httpd-2

The display format used by balancer-manager is a lot more compact vertically
than what appears in mod-status when the balancer is present. The table is only
about 1/3 the width of a normal browser page and there is a following legend of
no less than eleven lines containing the full description of the abbreviated
headers. The legend could be completely eliminated by using the full
description in the headings, as is already done in the balancer-manager
display. And there seems no good reason for these displays to be visually
different anyway.
