I should note, that the other setups that work, are a bit different:

a) I don't use the "ServerName localhost" trick on the default name based vhost
do "disabled" that one".

b) The default name based vhost and the one I try to actually access have
different certificates.

c) In the non working setup, the SSLCA* settings use the path versions, while
in the working one, they use the file version
