Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 52631] SSL / SNI accesses don't work the first time the vhost is accessed
Date Sun, 19 Feb 2012 18:44:50 GMT

--- Comment #7 from Christoph Anton Mitterer <> 2012-02-19 18:44:50

I'll be on holidays starting with tomorrow.
As the information you need requires some effort, please wait till I'm back
which is at the 1st of March.
Please be patient :)

In the meantime however I did some more checks and found out the following:
This seems to be some session issue....

When I have the website in Firefox and/or Chromium opened (correctly) and I
restart Apache, then the next reload of _both_ (!!!) browsers won't work but
will lead me to the default name based vhost.
Subsequent reloads work again and bring me to the non-default name based vhost.

BUT.... when I have the browsers closed and do the restart,... and then open
the browsers (either of them or both) it works for them.

So it seems as if this wouldn't be just some internal Apache issue, but really
how the Apache+Browser plays with each other.
