Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50862] New: FcgidWrapper in <Directory> blocks
Date Thu, 03 Mar 2011 14:03:05 GMT
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50862

           Summary: FcgidWrapper in <Directory> blocks
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.15
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_fcgid
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: erno.kovacs@freemail.hu

I am using mod_fcgid 2.3.6, and I wanted to setup two kind of fcgid apps based
on the documentroot, with this config:

<Directory /web/apps1>
  AddHandler fcgid-script .app
  FcgidWrapper "/usr/local/app1/wrapper.sh" .app
</Directory>
<Directory /web/apps2>
  AddHandler fcgid-script .app
  FcgidWrapper "/usr/local/app2/wrapper.sh" .app
</Directory>

But when starting Apache I get:
FcgidWrapper not allowed here

I dont understand, if its is possible to bind a specific wrapper to a
<Location> block, why is it not possible to bind it to a <Directory> ?

Please add this feature to the module, it would help a lot.
