surprisingly nobody answers, although I think it's a great piece of code which
allows stronger firewall DMZ/MZ rules.

the associated documentation is clear, and the exchanges show the code quality
has been studied thoroughly, so I don't see any reason to stay away from the
trunk.

is there someone thinking this feature could create a major regression or
performance drop ?  (I've not tested it)
