Yes, but is there a reason for ProxyPass to overwrite an existing status code?

If there's to be a directive for this, then perhaps:

ErrorDocumentStatus keep (default override)
or
ErrorDocumentKeepStatus on (default off)

- so that it's clearly related to ErrorDocument and next to it in the docs.
