Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49767] New: No last-chunk '0' after POST request on CGI script
Date Tue, 17 Aug 2010 17:17:39 GMT

           Summary: No last-chunk '0' after POST request on CGI script
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.14
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_cgid

After a fresh install of Apache2 (2.2.14), I wrote a small CGI script:

~# cat /usr/lib/cgi-bin/test

print "Content-type: text/plain\r\n\r\n";
print "foo";

Then, ran a small test (for a small script :):

~$ telnet 0 80
Connected to 0.
Escape character is '^]'.
POST /cgi-bin/test HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost
Content-Length: 20

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Tue, 17 Aug 2010 17:12:01 GMT
Server: Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu)
Vary: Accept-Encoding
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Content-Type: text/plain

Connection closed by foreign host.

As we can see, I can't get the last-chunk '0\r\n\r\n' at the end of the HTTP
response. It just ends up in a timeout...
