Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49611] New: Misleading typo in
Date Sat, 17 Jul 2010 23:01:50 GMT

           Summary: Misleading typo in
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.3-HEAD
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: Documentation

In this paragraph:

The asterisks match all addresses, so the main server serves no requests. Due
to the fact that is first in the configuration file, it has the
highest priority and can be seen as the default or primary server. That means
that if a request is received that does not match one of the specified
ServerName directives, it will be served by this first VirtualHost.

The "" reference appears incorrect, or at least not shown in the
file fragrment referenced. I believe it meant to say "" or
"www.example1". The documentation should be brought in line with whatever
reality has decided to be this year.
