Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 45487] New: broken log messages on startup in win32 version
Date Sun, 27 Jul 2008 15:49:41 GMT
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45487

Summary: broken log messages on startup in win32 version
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.9
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows Server 2003
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: spambox@shad.pp.ru

After switching from 2.2.8 to 2.2.8 I found out it writes something like this
to error.log during startup:

Starting the Apache2.2 service
The Apache2.2 service is running.
] Apache/2.2.9 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 configured -- resuming normal operations

Before, it was only writing this:

[Sun Jul 13 06:00:04 2008] [notice] Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 configured
-- resuming normal operations

What I find wrong is that "] " in the beginning of line that 2.2.9 writes.
Something is definitely broken, and even if this doesn't look dangerous, it's
better to be checked and fixed.
