1. software: apache 2.2.4 under Ubuntu 7.10 “gutsy” i386, firefox 2.0.0.8
2. environment: apache directives “Options +MultiViews +Indexes” in effect
3. Issue: a document has an anchor link <a href="xhtml">Here</a> to another
document in the same directory called "xhtml.html"
1. hovering over the link displays “http://localhost/hr/xhtml” where
“http://localhost/hr” is the url where the documents are located
2. *BUG* Clicking the link displays “http://localhost/hr/xhtml.html/“
in the location bar, and an Error 404 in the document window
2. Expected: “http://localhost/hr/xhtml.html“ (trailing slash removed)
4. get-around: rename your xhtml.html document or disable either of
MultiViews or Indexes
