Summary: .htaccess file ignored if AllowOverride None is used
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P1
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: unruh@physics.ubc.ca

The .htaccess file appears to be being ignored if the AllowOverride None
directive is in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file. This has changed in the newest
Apache on
Mandrive 2007 ( 2.2.3)
This is a security disaster.
