Oh, and Dave, the issue of <Directory> not being ServerRoot-relative is a whole
other ball-of-wax.  It isn't really necessary for the common case of trying
different versions to have a ServerRoot-relative <Directory>, since you usually
want to point both versions at the same content.

I wouldn't actually object to the concept of allowing ServerRoot-relative
<Directory> entries.  But it could cause some confusion.  (Many people already
assume that <Directory> is DocumentRoot-relative.)

And as I mentioned, too many threads in this bug report.  If you want a
ServerRoot-relative <Directory>, you should start a new bug report.
