Thanks for the report. Please use httpd 2.2.x for caching since it contains many
fixes and improvements since the days of the experimental cache module of 2.0.x.
Nevertheless I think that the problem you describe is also present in 2.2.x.
Could you please give the attached patch a try? It is against trunk, but it
should also work against 2.2.x.
