If I add the following lines to util_ldap.c right after the "ldap_set_option(
...LDAP_OPT_DEREF...);" line in uldap_connection_open() I can authenticate
against Active Directory 2003.

  /* Turn off referrals */
  ldap_set_option(ldc->ldap, LDAP_OPT_REFERRALS, (void *)LDAP_OPT_OFF);

I have code for 2.2.0 to make this a module option - "AuthLDAPFollowReferrals" -
which can be either "on" or "off" (defaults to on.)  Is this worth putting into
the source?
