Concerning the logging issue (PR31759): Yes, this has been reported about 6
month ago and there is still no fix. If you would like, you can say that
developers do not care about this. I would say the priorities are different.
This problem bothers you, so it has a high priority for you. So my point is:

a) You can fix it yourself in comparsion to a closed source product where you
can do nothing if the vendor does not care.
b) Given the low priority on developer side regarding this issue you can lower
the action bar of actually fixing it in the code base by providing a patch.
c) You can try to help improving the product.
