           Summary: Default config.layout:apache fails
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0.55
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Runtime Config
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: httpd2@karsites.net

I cannot seem to get the default layout for apache to work.

Here is the error.

karsites:/downloads/apache/server-2-0-55/httpd-2.0.55 # ./configure
--enable-layout=config.layout:apache
checking for chosen layout... config.layout:apache
checking for working mkdir -p... yes

configure: error: expected an absolute directory name for --bindir: NONE/bin
configure failed for srclib/apr
karsites:/downloads/apache/server-2-0-55/httpd-2.0.55 #

Maybe it's my setup, or I'm not doing something quite right.

Regards - Keith
