           Summary: logging of request size of PUT
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.53
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_dav
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: derk@gortemaker.nl

when working on logging traffic stats for on a mod_dav site I found that when
writing a file the log did not tell me the right size request.

This is what I send to Apache HTTPD:
PUT /km2/SMBdldr.tgz HTTP/1.1

Connection: Keep-Alive

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.0 (like Gecko)

Pragma: no-cache

Cache-control: no-cache

Accept: text/html, image/jpeg, image/png, text/*, image/*, */*

Accept-Encoding: x-gzip, x-deflate, gzip, deflate

Accept-Charset: utf-8, utf-8;q=0.5, *;q=0.5

Accept-Language: en

Host: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:8080

Authorization: Basic ZGVyazpkZXJrZGVyaw==

Content-Length: 13629

<binairy data>

And this is the logline I found in the apachelogs for this request:
XX.XX.XX.XX - name [30/Nov/2005:23:25:36 +0100] "PUT /km2/SMBdldr.tgz HTTP/1.1"
201 278 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.0 (like
Gecko)"
