Summary: After building the apache.exe from the source.zip on
                    W2K, apache.exe aborts with error 134 immediately
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.54
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: Build
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: todd.sellers@virtuspartners.com
                CC: todd.sellers@virtuspartners.com

I have downloaded the apache 2.0.54 source, as I need to incorporate openssl.
However the resulting Release/apache.exe will not run. When I invoke it via
any of the following syntaxes, it immediately aborts with error code 134:
  apache -k install
  apache -k install -f confpath
  apache
  apache -f confpath
  apache -V
Here is what I get... and it is immediate:
  [C:/apache2/httpd-2.0.54] Release/apache -V
  [1] + Done(134) Release/apache -V
    3268 Abort Release/apache

Initially, I had built the openssl component, then apache, and got this
error. But I started from scratch (without ssl), built apache, and get the
same exact error. I am using commandline VC++ compile from Visual Studio 6.

I have configured a logfile directory in the conf file, but no log file is
being created. There are no entries in the event log (application nor system).

Thanks for any insight.
