           Summary: Alias is ignored in name based VirtualHost and HTTP/1.0
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.52
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Silvio.Wanka@tietoenator.com

vhost def:

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerName my-alias
    ServerPath /my-alias
    DocumentRoot /home/www/my-alias

    Alias /test /opt/my-alias/test

    <Directory /opt/my-alias/test>
        ...
    </Directory>
</VirtualHost>

If I use a HTTP/1.1 browser all works ok, but if I
try e.g.

%telnet <server> <port>
GET /my-alias/test HTTP/1.0

I get: 404 Not Found

Workaround:

1. remove Alias definition
2. change
    <Directory /opt/my-alias/test>
   to
    <Directory /home/www/my-alias/test>
3. ln -s /opt/my-alias/test /home/www/my-alias/test

now it works. Please change the vhost-docu (uasage of aliases and
ServerPath not possible) or fix the bug.
