For example, I have a bunch of images named *.jpeg. Other people were linking to them (fine with me), but they called them *.jpg. This caused lots of extra work for my server as it had to fix the spelling every time someone loads the other peoples' pages. I only want mod_speling to act on URLs that people are likly to type in themselves. Normally these will end in .html or .php. Suggestion: Creat a directive in mod_speling in which a regex is specified. Only URLs matching (or not matching) the regex would be acted on by mod_speling. Another, more powerful, option would be to have a mod_rewrite flag that means "send this to mod_speling". -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: bugs-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: bugs-help@httpd.apache.org
