Summary: Apache goes to stopping mode and goes down very
                    frequently
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.49
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P1
         Component: All
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rajesh.khanna@polaris.co.in

Apache is going down very frequently and most of the time it goes in a stopping
mode which results in shutdown and restart of the windows server as a whole.

1) While analysing thru netstat was able to find many connections with
FIN_WAIT_2 in the server
2) There were more than 1 instance of apache.exe (4 instances) running always
and were not able to bring down the others even.

Environment details:

Windows 2000 Server with APACHE 2.0.49, PHP 4.3.2 & ORACLE 9i d/b.
