I found out the same problem. I have Apache 2.0.50 and Mandrake 10.1. The 
content-type is changed to default mime type after hitting referesh multiply 
times. I have disabled proxies and other software running so this looks 
definitely as an Apache problem. The interesting part was that if I added i.e. 
my css/html file to Document root I wasn't able to see the problem. However 
when I created new directory and added test files there the problem occured.

I haven't touched mime type configuration manually. Basicly the configuration 
is Mandrake 10.1 default.
