           Summary: test instructions
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.52
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/platform/windows.html
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Documentation
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rstill@canada.com

hello;
I would like to request a small change to the documentation.
On the page
http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/platform/windows.html
under testing the Installation, two test URL's are given:
 http://localhost/
and
 http://127.0.0.1/.
At least if apache is listening on port 8080, the port must be explicitly
entered as part of the URL. (I don't know about port 80, I didn't set it up that
way)
Could these test URLs be changed to show the port number, or a note made of
this. I know it would have saved me a lot of time.
Thanks
Ray
P.S. (I'm unsure of the priority level, so I left it at the default)
