           Summary: htdbm data created is not recognized by a mod_auth_dbm
                    protected directory directive
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.52
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_auth_dbm
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: fernando.wendt@gmail.com

I have created a .pag file, with the htdbm binary - intended to create a
auth_dbm conformance user authentication at one directory in the webserver, but
apaci doesn´t seems to be doing it. Here are the command line used via prompt,
as well as the partial httpd.conf directive used. Plus: when trying to change
the DBM file format, the GDBM and DB are not implemented yet.

HTDBM Bynary:

c:\Apache\bin>htdbm -cs grupo fernando
Enter   password: ****
Re-type password: ****
Database grupo created

HTTPD.CONF Directive:

<Directory "C:/Apache/Apache2/htdocs/dbm">
     AuthType Basic
     AuthDBMAuthoritative on
     AuthName "Acesso Restrito"
     AuthDBMUserFile "C:/Temp"
     AuthDBMGroupFile "C:/Temp"
     Require valid-user
</Directory>
