One could change defaults - but very few do. So unknown file types, as RAR and 7-zip archives, are mistreated as texts and are killed during download. I wish that Apache will add some header or in some other way mark the files, where real file type was not known and fallback to default type occured. Then browser could easily detect this. As well as any proxy software like Proxomitron could substitute MIME-Type then. This also may be wished for Apache 1.3 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: bugs-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: bugs-help@httpd.apache.org
