ap_assert when starting Apache with SSL enabled

------- Additional Comments From asmorgrav@yahoo.no 2004-06-05 14:48 -------
I had this problem on a production server (Sun V280, SunOS 5.8). After figuring
out that it was linked to the _default_ VHOST, I reproduced the problem on a
test server by modifying the resolver configuration in nsswitch.conf ("hosts:
files" instead of "hosts: files dns"). After having replaced _default_ by an IP
address, the server started normally.

I then tried to apply the same fix to the production server, replacing
_default_ by an IP address, but without any luck; it still coredumped.

Therefore, I wonder if there could be something more to it than just the
resolution of 255.255.255.255...
