Apache hangs in Windows98

Just an observation that I hope will shed some light...
I was experiencing similar problems with the 2.0.49 build on a clean Win98 install.
I uninstalled 2.0.49 and then installed 2.0.47 (which I was running previously
without incident). Apache then was able to run without errors.
