The cpu climbing to 100% is caused by having Mcafee anti-virus running. Once Mcafee was disabled, Apache 2.0.48 runs fine. This is not an idea situation and I do not wish to close this bug report as previous 2.0.x and 1.3.x versions of Apache co-exist fine alongside of Mcafee... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: bugs-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: bugs-help@httpd.apache.org
